Debut: Anime Expo 2007

Notes: All my friends seemed to be obsessed with the new Pokemon games for DS. While I didn't get into it as hardcore as they did, I got one look at Dawn and knew it would be an adorable cosplay. My pokeball was originally a stress ball from Walmart (that had spiderman printed on it!) which I ended up painting. But I think my biggest accomplishment with this costume was the BOOTS. I was determined to be the first Dawn cosplayer that DIDN'T choose pink ugg boots. My boots were made from a simple pair of white slip on shoes (that cost about $4), upholstery foam, fabric and hot glue.I even made Dawn's pokedex watch!
