What commissions do you take?
If you check out our portfolios, you can get a feel as to what our skill sets and skill levels are. We will create your costume based off of reference pictures provided by you and your body measurements. We primarily work with fabric, but can also style wigs, as well as create some props and accessories.

What commissions do you not take?
While RedStar is an experienced and creative team, there are some projects that we will unfortunately have to turn down. We do not make: full suits of armor/gundams, motorcycle-type helmets, most bodysuits, extraordinarily large props, full fur-suits, and light-up costumes, props or accessories.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Checks and money orders are accepted. Paypal is also accepted, but fees will apply.

How much are your costumes?
It depends on the time and the materials your costume will require. It also depends on the costume’s complexity. After you send us as many reference pictures as humanly possible and list any specifications you might have, you will get a quote for how much the costume will be.

Will I be able to pay in installments?
If your order is more than $300, then yes. Please see RedStar’s policy page for details.

What measurements will you need?
In order for your costume to fit correctly, we will need an accurate set of measurements! We can only be as accurate as the measurements you provide. Please visit the measurements page to see which ones we will need.

Will you send me progress pictures or updates?
Unfortunately, no. We are busy gals, and if we made updates and took progress pictures for everyone, you'd get your costume later rather than sooner! Please be patient with us.
